SEADE Twinning Programme – Creating Impact for Women

Across Africa and Europe, women founders face stubborn barriers: unequal access to finance, technology, networks, and decision-making tables. A new collaboration between Tech-Park Kaunas (based in Lithuania) and KU-WEE HUB (based in Kenya) has formed thanks to the SEADE Twinning Programme working to promote women’s economic empowerment through policy-driven research.

Goals

  • Conduct a comprehensive needs analysis to assess the potential and challenges faced by female entrepreneurs in Kenya

  • Identify and pursue innovative financing opportunities to support the incubation programme implementation, working jointly to secure the necessary resources

  • Promote cross-continental knowledge exchange and digital innovation, capitalizing on the unique strengths, expertise and networks of both institutions
