Scaling Programme
Entrepreneurs of the African diaspora, are you planning to scale your venture to Ghana, Senegal or Zimbabwe? The ENRICH scaling programme will support you to define your scaling strategy and roadmap, and provide you with the connections needed to execute them.
Open Innovation Challenges
ENRICH in Africa in partnership with the Enrich in Africa partner Agorize and our corporate partners has launched 5 Open Innovation Challenges on 5 different topics:

• Sothema and Polytechnic University Mohammed IV: Africa MedTech Challenge
• Sanofi: Healthcare Access Challenge
Startups can apply to these Challenges through our ENRICH in Africa Open Innovation Challenges platform here: Enrich in Africa - List of challenges (agorize.com). Deadlines are fast approaching so startups need to act quickly to be considered!
The finalists will have the chance to pitch their solutions during the final event of our Open Innovation Challenges that will take place during the Upcoming AU-EU Innovation Festival in Cape Town on the 15th of July. This session will culminate in an award ceremony dinner where our corporate partners - Paris Saint Germain, United.b, Sanofi, EDF, and Sothema- will reveal the overall winners.
Learning Expeditions
With our soft–landing, and acceleration programmes, European and African SMEs and start-ups can deep-dive into exciting new markets and ecosystems with EiA partners supporting their adaptation and growth internationally.
Our holistic programmes provide a one-stop-shop for business support services, including access to the local business networks, meeting potential investors, tailored training, and support in obtaining Visas.

Get support from the BOND’INNOV team on an immersive 5-day learning journey, exploring the Senegalese innovative and entrepreneurial scene.
Eligibility criteria:
For startups and SMEs at least 2 years old
Companies under European or African law (outside Senegal)
Companies able to cover travel and accommodation expenses
Companies with a team of at least 2 employees
Participants must be able to speak French

Do you plan to internationalise in Portugal?
Join the Porto Learning Expedition from ENRICH in Africa taking place in May/ June 2023!
Porto is the second largest city in Portugal and possesses a vibrant entrepreneurial landscape. Participants will be able to understand the local innovation ecosystem, explore cooperation opportunities between Europe and Africa and promote knowledge transfer.
Specific Objectives:
Understand the local support infrastructures and meet local innovators, investors, researchers and corporates
Foster cooperation between European and African innovators, incubators and accelerators
Promote knowledge transfer
Raise participants’ awareness of the existing mechanisms in Portugal that can facilitate entry in the European market
Who should attend:
This mission has a specific focus on African stakeholders pertaining to startups, SMEs, incubators, accelerators, universities, investors, business angels and venture capital organisations with a strong interest in Europe. European stakeholders with a strong interest in expanding into Africa are also welcome to participate.

A gateway to Europe powered by Bond’innov
The Bees Soft-landing programme by Bond’innov was delivered in 2021, designed for African entrepreneurs looking to expand their businesses in Europe by fully immersing themselves within the European entrepreneurial ecosystem. The programme supported selected SMEs and start-ups in navigating the complex internationalisation journey to Europe. Participants kickstarted their internationalisation journey in the region of Paris (within Bond’innov’s incubator facilities). After the first month, participants were given the choice to continue the programme in another European incubator from the EiA Champion’s network. The programme had a duration of 3 months.
A gateway to Africa powered by FSAT Labs
In October 2022, FSAT Labs welcomed a cohort of European startups to their offices in the heart of Cape Town (South Africa). Through an extensive ecosystem of partners and mentors with industry expertise, European entrepreneurs had at their disposal all the necessary tools to ensure that they established themselves in the local market.
The Europe to Africa soft-landing webinar organised by FSAT Labs and powered by ENRICH in Africa (EiA) took place on 3 May 2022. It provided information about the 3 months soft-landing programme designed to support European headquartered startups to launch their operations/products/services in African territory.
Acceleration powered by Startupbootcamp AfriTech
Startupbootcamp AfriTech will select up to 80 startups from softlanding applicants to receive lifetime access to the Accelerator Squared platform, which includes the digital learning platform, invite-only founder community, and investor marketplace. An additional 10-15 applicants from Europe and Africa will be chosen every quarter for the next two years to receive access to the platform as well. This means there is no deadline and your application has a chance at winning access every 3 months!
